Professor Kohol Iornem gained both his Masters and PhD at Cardiff Metropolitan University. His main research interest revolves around resilience, personal growth initiatives, and employee productivity in the workplace. He teaches MBA courses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Leadership and Culture, and Strategic Management at the University of Bolton’s London Campus (Regent College London).

Professor Iornem has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been a regular keynote speaker and chair at many international research and practitioner conferences including the British Academy of Management’s conference. His most recent book, ‘A Social Science Student's Guide to Surviving Your PhD’, was published by Open University Press.

Professor Iornem is a John Maxwell Leadership Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach and has extensive experience in organizing executive education programmes for top executives and senior managers interested in career development. He is a Member of the British Academy of Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Professor Iornem is the immediate past President of the Mzough U Tiv United Kingdom (MUTUK) (2019-2023). He enjoys promoting and enhancing the socio-economic and cultural development of the Tiv people in the United Kingdom and supporting similar advancements in Tivland in Nigeria. He founded two Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Nigeria namely, Menroi Rural Priority Foundation and Mzehemen u Tiv Foundation, to create a world where the less privileged in rural communities will thrive.
